FBG Kids on MissionWednesdays, 6:00–7:30 p.m.: E3 Second FloorFBG Kids on Mission will focus on how God is at work in the world and how kids can join God’s mission to reach the nations with the gospel. Through FBG Kids on Mission, your kids will discover how they can pray, give, go and send to support global missions both where they live and around the world. Kids will be equipped with the Word of God through engaging Bible lessons and memorization incentives. They will also have an opportunity to participate in missions and to explore their own gifting through ministry projects. Our 1st–5th grade groups will get hands-on experience. We will be coordinating two projects for the fall and two for the spring. For example, we will be ministering to folks in a nursing home for our first project. Activities may include singing, drama, crafts and other activities. The goal is to connect kids with the mission of God and to encourage them to use their talents to serve the Lord. The following verses come to mind when we think about FBG Kids on Mission. "Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve others, as good stewards of the varied grace of God" (1 Peter 4:10, CSB). "And he died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for the one who died for them and was raised" (2 Corinthians 5:15, CSB).Register for FBG Kids on Mission by clicking here!Upward Basketball and Cheerleading Upward is an evangelistic sports ministry dedicated to promoting community outreach, developing volunteer leadership, and sharing the love of Christ with children and their families.
