FBG Kids on Mission

Wednesdays, 7:00–8:15 p.m.: E3 Second Floor

FBG Kids on Mission will focus on how God is at work in the world and how kids can join God’s mission to reach the nations with the gospel. Through FBG Kids on Mission, your kids will discover how they can pray, give, go and send to support global missions both where they live and around the world.

The right time for them to get started is NOW! Kids will have the opportunity to participate in missions and to explore their own gifting through ministry projects. We will be coordinating two projects for the fall and two for the spring. For example, we will be ministering to folks in a nursing home for our first project. Activities may include singing, drama, crafts and other activities.

The goal is to connect kids with the mission of God and to encourage them to use their talents to serve the Lord. The following verses come to mind when we think about FBG Kids on Mission. "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace" (1 Peter 4:10, ESV). "And he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised" (2 Corinthians 5:15, ESV).
