GO DEEPER

If you have never decided to trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior, please consider doing so today. You can pray and ask for forgiveness of your sins right now. You can pray something like the following prayer:

Dear God, I recognize that I need you because of my sin. I believe that Jesus lived, died and rose again from the dead to forgive me of all my sins and rescue me from a sinful way of life. Forgive me of my sins. I want to follow Jesus the rest of my life. I am asking you to give me eternal life. I know that you love me and care for me since you sent Jesus Christ to die for me. Help me trust you with my life because of your love for me that I see in Jesus’ death on the cross. Thank you for the forgiveness of sins and a brand new eternal life. Amen.

God makes this promise to you (Romans 10:13, NASB), “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

If you believed in Jesus, His death and resurrection for you, and asked Him to forgive you of your sins and to give you eternal life, He promises you that He will do exactly what you have asked.

If you decided to believe in Jesus and ask Him to forgive you then I encourage you to share this decision with a family member or friend who is a Christian and can help you in this decision. Please also consider sharing this decision with one of the pastors at FBG. We would love to help you learn more about following Jesus Christ.

A local church like FBG is a great place where every Christian can find a community of people that will really help in the incredible decision to follow Jesus.

Please let us help. If you made this decision, email me at pastor@fbcgt.org and let me know. I will help you in this decision.

God also provides this insight into what is happening in heaven right now (Luke 15:10, NASB), “There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” Join the angels in celebration as you follow Jesus for the rest of your life. So glad you joined us today for Easter celebration.
