Spend some time this week focusing on the character of the Lord and allow the Lord to change the way you worship, interact with others and live because of who He is.

Read Psalm 24, Psalm 63, Psalm 147 and Psalm 148 and use these passages as a catalyst for praising the Lord for who He is.

Spend time seeking to align your life with the truth that God is in control no matter what the circumstances look like.

Ask the Lord to show you the areas of your life where you are holding back and not trusting Him fully. Write them down and pray through them one by one surrendering each one to the Lord and thanking Him that He is involved in every one of them.

Trusting the Lord extends to the hardest days as well as the best. Read James 1:2–4.

As you pray, ask the Lord to help you grow in your faith through every circumstance you face.

Make a conscious decision to trust the Lord in whatever you face this week. As you face something difficult, intentionally give it to the Lord and ask Him to help you walk through it in a way that gives Him glory and leads others to wanting to know Him.

When you encounter people this week who are walking through hard circumstances, seek to be an encourager, with the gospel, as they face the difficulties in front of them.
