Sunday Mornings for Seniors
The Senior Adult Ministry is for those 50 and up. Age-based Life Groups, a time for fellowship and Bible study, are available every Sunday at 8:30, 9:40, and 11:00am. These Life Groups allow you to get to know people, share stories and laughs, and share one another’s burdens and joys. Senior Adults often attend one of the two morning Worship Services at 9:40 or 11:00am.
Missions and Volunteering
Opportunities are also available to invest in people’s lives and God’s Kingdom, like mission projects in the church, the community, and around the world. The church has more than 25 ministry opportunities for Senior Adult participation and more are added as needs arise. A definite, current priority includes ministry to the sick, homebound, bereaved, and others with special needs.
Activities
Other Senior Adult activities and events include Mission Trips, VIP Choir (75+ members), Monthly Game Night, Luncheons, Afternoons at the Movies, Day Trips and Over-night Trips.
Annual Events Annual Events include the Fall Banquet, Merry Christmas with Love, Spring Sing, Missions Banquet, and the Deacon-sponsored Naomi Banquet for Widows and Widowers.
