Celebrate Recovery

Hurting? Want a change for your life that will make a difference? There is a safe place for you. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered discipleship and recovery program designed to bring hope and healing to anyone struggling with a wide variety of life hurts and habits. Whether you or a family member struggle with anger, shame, guilt, abuse, abortion, addiction, gambling, eating disorders, lust, pornography, being an adult child of an alcoholic/drug addict, or issues similar to these, you will find a safe place, caring people, and accepting grace at CR. Meets Tuesday nights at 7pm.

GriefShare

GriefShare offers a safe, loving, and confidential environment for those grieving the death of a loved one. GriefShare meets Thursdays, 6:30-8:30pm in E2.103 with a new 13 week cycle that begins on the first Thursday of January, May, and August. There is a one-time registration fee of $20.

Stephen Ministry

The Stephen Ministry provides confidential, one-to-one, distinctively Christian care to individuals who are currently experiencing life difficulties. Your confidentiality is held at all times. The identity of those receiving care and what takes place in each caring relationship remains private. Stephen Ministers are members of FBCgT who have been trained to be a listening ear and helpful guide through your challenging times.

DivorceCare

DivorceCare meets Sundays from 5:00-6:30pm in E2.202 with a new 13 week cycle that begins on the second Sunday of January, May, and September. This divorce recovery support group and seminar, facilitated by those who have been through divorce, offers healing for men and women who are experiencing the hurt of separation and divorce. Each of the 13 sessions includes a video seminar featuring top experts on divorce and recovery topics followed by participation in a support group involving discussion of the video content and what is happening in the lives of the members.

Military Ministries

First Baptist Church Georgetown greatly appreciates the dedicated service of our military men and women who are defending freedom at home and abroad. The Military Ministries' purpose is toprovide physical, emotional and spiritual support and encouragement to the families of military personnel involved in every branch of service.

Professional Christian Counselors
