FBCgT’s Patriotic Service is Sunday, June 29, during both the 9:40am service and the 11am service.

We would like all branches of service represented in uniform at both services. You may sign up for either service, or for both. (You must also still be able to wear your uniform comfortably).

Adults are needed to provide encouragement, friendship, and prayer support for pastors and wives serving in Vermont. Other ministry may include: music, workshops, soup kitchen, food bank, adult daycare, and prayerwalking. Join the FBCgT family on Sunday May 18 at 7pm in the Worship Center under the leadership of Pastor John Duncan and the deacon body for our first-ever Stephen Ministry Commissioning Service. 26 church members will be commissioned as Stephen Ministers and six as Stephen Leaders. Upon commissioning, Stephen Ministers will be available to provide one-to-one, distinctively Christian care for those in our church and community who are experiencing life difficulties.

You may access their services for yourself or someone you know by contacting the church office. All of them have completed 50 hours of training and the six leaders have completed an additional week-long intensive training course. A reception will follow in the Rec Center.

All Seniors invited! Miracle Farm is a ministry for pre-
delinquent boys and is a part of the Texas Baptist Children’s Home and Family Services. Tour the facilities, have lunch with the boys, and enjoy a rodeo. Leave the church at 7:30 am via church vans and private cars. Call the church office, 869-2586, by May 12 for reservations. All senior adults going are invited to financially help Friday Folks with the ministry items they’ll be taking to Miracle Farm.
