Easter lilies can now be purchased for $10 each in honor or in memory of a loved one. They will adorn the Worship Center for Good Friday and Easter, and will be available for pickup the following Monday through Wednesday.

The Worship Center and Prayer Chapel at First Baptist Church Georgetown will be open to anyone on Good Friday, April 2, from 6am to 6pm. Use the time to remember the meaning of Good Friday and the resurrection of Christ on Easter morning.

A Remembrance Service will then be held at 7pm in the Worship Center.

We’ll gather in the Parlor at 11:30am for a time of food, fun, and fellowship. We’re calling the day, “Friendship Day,” and we hope you’ll invite a friend to come with you! We’ll be looking at what the Bible says about being a friend, and compiling a list of characteristics of a true friend. So come and enjoy a relaxing fun time, renew some friendships and meet some new single senior friends who share your walk in life.

The menu includes Pizza, salad, and cobbler with ice cream. Yum! Yum! Donations of $2.00 will be accepted. Our ministry project, always optional, is diapers for the Annunciation Maternity Home in Georgetown.
