Children’s Library

The Library Ministry Team is happy to announce the opening of the new Children’s Library in the Playscape area of Education Building 3 on Sunday, May 4th.

We will have a volunteer available to help children and parents select materials on Sunday mornings from 9:00 to 9:30am and 12:15 to 12:45pm.

Terms of Use

1.    Library will be open on Sundays from:
9:00 until 9:30
12:15 until 12:45 to start with; additional hours as demand increases.

2.    Children must have a signed registration form (pdf) on file in order to use the library.

3.    The maximum number of items that can be checked out at one time is 3 (2 books & 1 audio visual item).

4.    Materials checked out are due 3 weeks from the date taken.

5.    Fines are not charged for overdue items.  You will receive an email reminder when items are two weeks overdue.  If they are not returned then, you will receive a personal call.  If items are still not returned, we will assume they are lost and a bill will be sent informing you of their replacement cost.

6.    Fines will be charged for damage to the book such as torn pages, crayon marks, or water damage.

7.    Children will not be allowed to check out additional materials when items have not been returned.  Please explain this to your child, as this rule will be strictly enforced.

New Pathways Rotation (April - May)

We will be starting a new rotation about the Books of the Bible this Sunday, April 6.

It is called “Which way do I go?” and focuses on the Bible. The kids will learn the books of the Bible during this rotation. Each week they will learn a different section of the Bible. The kids will have opportunities to earn points for:

(1) bringing their Bible
(2) participation and
(3) memorizing that section of the books of the Bible.

On May 25th, we will have a “Sundae Sunday.” Each child will need to check in and get their nametag and then go straight to the gym. Every child will get a scoop of ice cream. Then, the kids may use the points they earned to buy different toppings.

The second page of the document below breaks down the books of the Bible into the different sections. The third page shows you which class your child will be in each Sunday.

Please help your children as they try to learn the books of the Bible.
